The Osburn Family Theater
Bonney Lake, WA
CHTD transformed this bonus room into a
dedicated theater room. CHTD designed, built
and installed a custom bench seat to house the necessary electronics, while also
providing
for CD/DVD storage. This cabinet was designed to properly vent heat by
incorporating a
"chimney vent system" allowing air to move in, throughout, and then
out of the cabinet.
Design of Cabinet
The cabinet was designed to allow air to flow into the cabinet
from the bottom (holes), through the area housing the electronics,
and out via the top of the cabinet via the "chimney" opening (middle
picture) and overhang "gap" (shown on right).

Behind the 92" acoustically transparent screen are the
front left/center/right speakers.

The Penrose Family Theater
Gig Harbor, WA

The Penrose family had an unfinished basement they wanted to
convert to something special.
CHTD met with the family and came up with a home theater design that was hidden
when not
in use, but with a touch of a few buttons would transform their room into a
movie palace!

Building a soffit to house the electronic motorized screen and
speakers, CHTD was able to design this theater to
be non-obtrusive during the day but provide movie theater quality excitement by
night! The screen was custom sized
to perfectly hide the window above the fireplace. Electronics were place in a
cabinet on the right side of the screen,
while the subwoofer was placed within an acoustically transparent lower cabinet
on the other side of the screen.
Callaway Fitness (Meridian)
Puyallup, WA
CHTD installed 20 plasma's, 2 huge front projection systems, a 3-zone/30 speaker audio system in this 22,000 sq/ft. facility!
We also installed a home theater with 6.1 surround in their aerobic room!
The Worman Family
Sammamish, WA
CHTD worked with the Worman family during the remodel of their
existing home. Desiring an all house
audio system and family room home theater, CHTD coordinated with existing
contractors to make it all happen!
CHTD installed a 6-zone audio system in the kitchen, den,
master bedroom, master bath, outdoor fire patio, and outdoor deck.
We located all of the equipment in a custom cabinet that also houses the LCD for
home theater use.
The Tracht Family
Lacey, WA
CHTD got involved during the early stages of construction to
provide the best placement
of equipment, speakers, and video based on the clients desires and room layout.

The Tracht family wanted the equipment to run their family
room home theater located upstairs in the closet
of their game room. CHTD ran the necessary cables and radio frequency remote
system to make their dreams a reality.
CHTD worked with the client to frame the plasma in beautiful wood to match their
collection of fine artwork.
Installation also including in-wall speakers and LCD TV's in the game room.

The Williams Family

The Williams family new home has a lot of new features!

room with a REFERENCE 7.1 Surround System.
Acoustically transparent 92" Screen, motorized in-ceiling surround
speakers, in-wall subwoofers, etc.

CHTD installed a 50" Plasma and remote control system for equipment that is located in adjacent office.

CHTD flew to Palm Springs and did the following.
CHTD installed a 50" Plasma and 5.1 surround sound system in the owners office.

The Johnston Family

The Johnston's had two needs,
a family room home theater and a
"theme room" centered around football and the Washington State
Cougars.

This was a fun room to work on!
From the REAL astro-turf to the imbedded WSU logo and yard lines,
this room is any mans dream (if you're a WSU fan)! CHTD installed a 42"
plasma, in-wall speakers
and subwoofer, and placed all the equipment within hands reach behind the bar.
The E-Cinema
Puyallup, WA
This theater was designed and built CHTD from the ground up.
This 12' x 18' dedicated theater room
contains automated curtains, tiered seating,
and a 92" front projection system with 7.1 surround sound.
